Life Studies

With their form tutors pupils will engage in an hour long Life Studies lesson each week, throughout Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

Life Studies is a finely tuned curriculum that meets the developmental needs of our pupils. In Life Studies lessons teachers deliver exciting lessons that explore issues relating to students’ personal social and health education (PSHE), citizenship education and SEAL skills (Social and Emotional Aspects of Learning).

At Key Stage 3 pupils’ Citizenship knowledge and skills are assessed and reported on in the form of an attainment level. At Key Stage 4 pupils gain direct feedback on their work related skills and progression towards future courses and careers.

For further information on any of the subjects please do not hesitate in contacting;

Head of Life Studies
